If you’re anything like me, you’ve been itching for betting opportunities since Super Bowl LIX concluded with the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. I’ve already broken down Super Bowl LX odds and 2025 Season Win Totals for the upcoming season, and I’ll continue to add to my NFL Futures Best Bets throughout the off-season. The 2025 NFL Draft is quickly approaching on April 24-26, our one chance to bet on an actual NFL event before preseason action gets underway in August.
Unfortunately, my home state of Pennsylvania doesn’t allow betting on the NFL Draft since it’s not an actual sporting competition. Hopefully, you live in or near one of the states that are allowed to offer betting lines on this year’s draft or you have access to an off-shore betting account.
Since I don’t have access to draft lines in Pennsylvania, I’m using lines that are offered in New Jersey for this article. Make sure to shop around for the best lines and odds if possible. There’s a lot more volatility in odds between sportsbooks with an event like the NFL Draft than you’ll see on game lines or player props during the season.
I plan on updating my NFL Draft Prop articles and my NFL Draft Best Bets multiple times before the end of April so check back throughout the month.
We’re thrilled to offer rookie scouting reports from Brett Whitefield from our 2025 NFL Draft Prospect Guide. I’ve included a small piece of his analysis for each player listed below. Be sure to sign up for a FREE account to get Brett’s complete analysis of over 150+ players.

Number 2 Overall Pick: Travis Hunter (-250, BetRivers) — Hunter is set to become the NFL’s next star two-way player, following the path of his Colorado coach, Deion Sanders. Hunter took home the Heisman Trophy for his performance in 2024, and he became the first player to win the Biletnikoff (top receiver) and Bednarik (top defensive player) Awards. He’s gaining momentum closer to the draft as his Colorado teammate Shedeur Sanders falls from the top of the board. He’s jumped into the driver’s seat to be the #2 overall pick after sitting behind Sanders and Abdul Carter before the calendar flipped to April. The Browns need quarterback help in the worst way as Kenny Pickett is the only healthy one currently on the roster.
Despite that glaring QB need, they’ve seemingly prioritized selecting one of the defensive blue-chip prospects in Hunter or Carter. The Browns just locked up Myles Garrett to a long-term deal so Carter would be more of a luxury pick to team with Garrett. Cleveland has a small need for cornerback depth behind Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome. They have a pressing need at wide receiver behind Jerry Jeudy, and GM Andrew Berry said around the combine that Hunter could play WR in Cleveland. Berry said, “He can play both and I think that’s what makes him special. We would see him as a receiver primarily first, but I think part of, again, what makes him a bit of a unicorn is the fact that he can do both at a high level.”

Number 3 Overall Pick: Abdul Carter (-170, FanDuel) — Carter is looking to follow in the footsteps of Micah Parsons, who also wore the number 11 at Penn State before the Cowboys selected him 12th overall in 2021. Carter powered Penn State’s defense to the CFP semifinals on his way to being named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous All-American. Carter is competing with Travis Hunter to be the first defensive player selected, and it appears Shedeur Sanders is no longer in the mix to be selected inside the top three. Carter has a massive ceiling because of his elite burst off of the edge and he comes into the league off of a productive college career.
Carter was the odds-on favorite to be selected second overall until Colorado’s pro day. Jeff Howe reported that there was a “growing belief around the league” that Hunter was the favorite to go to the Browns. The Giants don’t necessarily need to select Carter since they already have Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux as EDGE rushers, but Carter along with Cam Ward and Hunter have separated from the rest of the prospects in this year’s class. He plays a premium position, which makes it difficult for the Giants to pass on him despite their EDGE depth. It’s also not out of the question that New York trades back if some team is willing to give them the farm to move up to the third pick to select Cart.

To Be a Top 5 Pick: Mason Graham (-140, FanDuel) — Graham took home a 2023 CFP National Championship with Michigan before being named a unanimous All-American in his final season. Graham bypassed working out at the combine and his pro day, but he was never going to test off the charts. His tape speaks for itself as he’s a disruptive force against the run and pass. The Jaguars at fifth overall have been the most popular landing spot for Graham in mock drafts at 67%, and his expected draft position sits at 5.3.
New GM James Gladstone said in late February they were going to address both of their lines this off-season, and they addressed the O-line by signing Robert Hainsey and Patrick Mekari. Gladstone said before they signed Hainsey and Mekari, ”We’re going to have to have some spots that are actually open for [draft picks] to insert. So [adding] a veteran at this point could be just standing in the way. We’re going to allow these rookies to get a chance to get out on the field and help us this coming fall.” Graham would beef up the middle of a defensive line between Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, which ranked 30th in sack rate (5.2%) and 27th in adjusted YBC/ATT (2.31).

Draft Prop to Consider
First Offensive Lineman Drafted: Will Campbell (-115, BetOnline) — Campbell landed at LSU as a five-star recruit in 2022 and started as a true freshman before earning consensus All-American honors in his final season. Campbell’s draft stock took a hit at the combine when his arm length measured at 32⅝”, which was short of the 33” threshold NFL teams prefer for offensive tackles. His arms grew a few weeks later when they reached the 33” threshold at the LSU pro day to alleviate some concerns about his length.
The Patriots at fourth overall are the most popular destination for Campbell in mock drafts at 42%, and his expected draft position sits at 7.2. New England ideally would like to snag either Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter with the fourth overall pick, but the odds say they’ll both be off the board by the time the Patriots are on the clock. New England addressed a lot of needs in its first free agency with Mike Vrabel as head coach, but still has glaring needs along its offensive line, especially on the left side. The franchise needs second-year QB Drake Maye to reach his full potential, which will be tough to do behind one of the league’s worst O-lines. Campbell primarily played on the left side while his main competition, Armand Membou, played right tackle at Missouri, which is another reason why most mock drafts prefer Campbell to the Patriots over Membou.

Draft Prop to Consider
Armand Membou Draft Position: Over 6.5 (-260, BetOnline) — Membou stayed in state to play for the Missouri Tigers, where he earned second-team All-SEC honors in his final season. He raised his profile at the combine by excelling in the 40-yard dash (4.91) and vertical jump (34”) at 6’4”, 332 pounds. Membou and Will Campbell joined Tristan Wirfs and Trent Williams as the only O-linemen to weigh 315+ pounds to post 30”+ vertical and sub-5.00 second 40-times at the combine since 2003. Membou and Campbell are battling it out to be the first lineman selected, as Kelvin Banks Jr. is the next closest option at +1400 odds.
The Jets at seventh overall are the most popular destination for Membou in mock drafts at 44%, and his expected draft position sits at 8.5. New York has selected offensive linemen in the first round twice in the last four drafts, picking Olu Fashanu (11th) last year and Alijah Vera-Tuckers (14th) in 2021. The Jets have a massive hole at right tackle and new HC Aaron Glenn could look to build his offense through the ground game much like the Lions did. The Jets also have Justin Fields at quarterback and a stable of talented young RBs.
