Welcome to a brand new feature on Fantasy Points! Each week, I’ll go through some of my favorite Underdog Fantasy props so we can make a parlay (or multiple) based on those picks! It is very important to note that for Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em, you can’t just play one single prop by itself, you need to have at least a two-team parlay, so there won’t be any one bet that I emphasize more than the others.
Underdog Fantasy is the best place to play fantasy sports in-season, and you can use promo code FANTASYPTS to get a FREE 100% match on your first deposit, up to $100!
Before we get going, a quick overview of how Underdog Fantasy scoring rolls: half-PPR scoring, passing yards points are 1 point per every 25 yards, 4-point passing touchdowns, -1 point for an interception. Since this typically drops on Fridays, this will not include a Thursday Night Football prop. Let’s dive right into this week’s props!
Current Record: 24-12-1; Week 12: 3-0
Dameon Pierce OVER 70.5 Rushing Yards
It’s been a smart play all season to back running backs against the Browns’ defense, as they’ve allowed the 6th-most rushing yards per game and have had trouble stopping teams from moving the ball down the field.
This could be a sneaky ultra-positive bounce-back game for Pierce though, as the Browns are starting Deshaun Watson in his first NFL action in nearly 2 years. The rust could show early as the Texans do have a decent pass rush, allowing the Texans more cracks on offense.
We could see a Houston team that is very determined to beat their former quarterback as well, so Pierce will have plenty of opportunities to hit this number.
Trevor Lawrence OVER 14.5 Rushing Yards
I’m not sure how much running we see the Jaguars do, with this projecting to be a massive pass-funnel game for both teams, but it stands to reason that Lawrence can definitely hit this number.
First of all, while the Lions do not boast a massive pass rush, Aidan Hutchinson has been playing much better in recent weeks.
The Lions also allow the MOST rushing yards per game to quarterbacks at over 45 yards per game, and Lawrence has been on a rushing kick lately, rushing for 14.5+ yards in 5 of his last 7 games.
Aaron Jones OVER 57.5 Rushing Yards
Aaron Rodgers owns the Bears, right? Well Jones also owns the Bears, just on the ground, as well as through the air. As it stands, the Bears give up the 7th-most yards on the ground per game at 113.1, and while AJ Dillon will be a factor in this one, don’t discount Jones.
In his 5 previous games against the Bears in the last three seasons, Jones has been a wizard vs. Chicago. In 3 of the 5 performances he went over 75 rushing yards and he has 3 touchdowns in those five games. He’s averaging 75.2 yards per game over those last 5 and with the defensive struggles the Bears have had, there is no reason to think he can’t go over once again.
Final Thoughts
When we load all of these plays into Underdog Fantasy’s prop parlay machine, we receive 6-1 odds on this parlay, meaning if you bet $100 and all three legs hit, you will win $600 total!
Alternatively, you can choose to get Insurance on your parlay, for no additional cost. With insurance, if one of your legs doesn’t hit but the other two do, you get paid at 1-1 odds, while winning at 3-1 odds if you still hit all three legs.
