Week 4 Streaming DSTs

If you are one of those hooligans who streams defenses each week, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll be looking for 50% rostered or less in Yahoo! leagues.

Chicago Bears (Chi, 28%) vs. Det

Khalil Mack has been the player they’ve needed him to be this season and has helped this improved unit rack up 10 sacks in their last two games. This week they face an 0-3 Lions team that has scored just 17 points in each of their last two games and has been one of the most fantasy-friendly teams for opposing DSTs. Chicago is favored by 6 and is expected to keep the Lions under 20 points for the third time in as many weeks.

Tennessee Titans (Ten, 13%) @ NYJ

The Titans are an average defense at best, but they did hold the Colts to just 16 points last week. They also managed to find a pass rush this offseason — something they’ve sorely lacked in recent years — so that should help them take advantage of their expected dominance of the 0-3 Jets. Tennessee is favored by more than a touchdown and the Jets have scored a total of 6 points in two weeks. Not surprisingly, the Jets give up the most fantasy production to opposing DSTs.

Miami Dolphins (Mia, 17%) vs. Ind

The Dolphins have been a big-play machine, posting 2 INTs — including a pick-six — 3 fumble recoveries, and 4 sacks. With two elite corners and above-average veteran safeties, this secondary can slow down any passing game. The 0-3 Colts will be rolling into South Florida with a hobbled QB and will likely be down two of their starting O-linemen (including All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson) and scored just 16 points last week.
