Week 7 Streaming DSTs

We had another good week in Week 6, as all 3 of our streaming DSTs hit in the top 10 (#3, #4, and #12). Let’s dive into this week’s streaming options. As always, we’re looking for under 50% rostered in Yahoo! leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles (Phi, 30%) vs. NYG

After a few tough matchups (@Pit and Bal), Philly faces one of the most inept offenses in the league. The Giants are averaging fewer than 15 points per game, and have surrendered 3 sacks and 1 INT per game. What’s more, their consistency is impressive, staying between 9 and 17 offensive points in 5 of their 6 games. This Eagles D is averaging 3 sacks and an INT per game, so this seems like a perfect fit.

Los Angeles Chargers (LAC, 27%) vs. Jax

The Chargers D has been short on sacks, largely because Joey Bosa has been nursing a few injuries. Their bye week should have helped this, as not only did Bosa get the week to rest up, but so did Melvin Ingram, who could return after his IR stint. That would be good timing, as the Jags give up almost 3.5 sacks per game, and has surrendered an INT in 5 of 6 games. The Chargers have an INT in back-to-back games and are favored at home by 9.

New York Giants (NYG, 38%) @ Phi

Last week, we recommended both New York and Washington as streaming options even though they played each other and that worked out nicely. Well, we’re gonna double it up here, as Carson Wentz saw his depleted offense lose its top two producers in Miles Sanders and Zach Ertz to injury. Neither will play this week, which means this decimated O-line will have to protect Wentz without any reliable help. With just 45 total points expected in this contest, it’s hard to pass up either of these defenses.

Justin has been holding down the IDP fort for John Hansen and the crew since 2015. In addition to projections and articles, he also hosts an all-IDP podcast called “The IDP Corner,” where he is joined by his fellow FantasyPoints IDP contributor Thomas Simons, along with other special guests.
