We finished #1, #3, and #12 this week, so hopefully that helped some of you in the playoffs. Let’s keep rolling. As always, we’re looking for 50% rostered or less in Yahoo! Leagues.
Cleveland Browns (Cle, 50%) @ NYG
The Giants continue to struggle offensively. The mediocre Cardinals D held New York to just 7 points and racked up 8 sacks, so just wait until this O-line meets Myles Garrett, Sheldon Richardson, and the gang. While the Browns defense hasn’t been a shutdown unit, the Giants O-line has virtually no prayer against this front four that has multiple-sack outings in all but two games (including against the strong O-lines of Ten and Pit). As the Browns offense has come alive as of late, this could be a game that Cleveland dominates. That’s music to a streamer’s ears. And for a bonus, you can just hang onto Cleveland in Week 16. They play the Jets.
New England Patriots (NE, 48%) @ Mia
We figured it was only a matter of time before Bill Belichick got this defense back to its dominant ways. The Patriots haven’t allowed more than 17 points in four of their last five games (including a complete skunking of the Chargers in Week 13). They’re not much on sacks (they’ve had 2 or fewer in every game but one), but they’ve been top-10 in yards allowed per game and top-5 in points allowed per game since their Week 7 bye. Miami has been winning, but their offense doesn’t pack the same punch with Tua Tagovailoa at QB. They’ve surpassed 20 points just once in their last four games and rank 27th in total offense.
Minnesota Vikings (Min, 46%) vs. Chi
The Vikings have been the epitome of the streaming defense. They’re a solid and well-coached unit that doesn’t hold up against high-powered offenses but takes advantage of weak offenses. They’ve held four of their last six opponents to 20 points or fewer, including dominating these Bears back in Week 10 (13 points allowed, 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 fumble recovery). Vegas has the Vikings winning this in a low-scoring game, and we’re inclined to agree.
