NFL Picks

The Week 13 slate is filled with opportunities for savvy managers. These top plays will set your lineups apart and help you crush the competition.

Alvin Kamara (RB, NO)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 18

  • Fantasy Points: 22.6

In the biggest discrepancy in fantasy score between PrizePicks and Fantasy Points on the week, Kamara will look to put the bye week rest to good use. It has been three weeks since we last saw Kamara put up more than the current fantasy score projection, but this is still a positive matchup for the RB position, even if slightly. He hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 6, so he is more than due.

Darnell Mooney (WR, ATL)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 11

  • Fantasy Points: 14.1

The Falcons and the Chargers are two of the worst defenses in the NFL at giving up points to the WR position. The Falcons give up points to receivers lined up wide and the Chargers are a sieve to slot WR points. Aside from a clunker against the Broncos where Mooney played only 58% of the snaps, he has been dominant in three of his last four games, safely averaging more than the current projection of 11 FP (14.4 FP/G). His XFP average over that same span was 13.9 FP/G.

Matthew Stafford (QB, LA)
  • Pass Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 258.5

  • Fantasy Points: 280.1

New Orleans has been beatable through the air over the last five weeks and Stafford has been hitting his stride during that same time. Only once has he been below the 258.5-yard projections in the last five weeks. With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua healthy and the Rams in desperate need of a win to keep playoff hopes alive, look for Stafford to step up.

James Conner (RB, ARZ)
  • Rush+Rec Yds (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 67.5

  • Fantasy Points: 86.5

Repeating a strategy that worked early in the season after Chuba Hubbard got his extension, I am rolling with Conner fresh off his two-year extension. This season Conner has beaten this projection in eight of eleven weeks. Minnesota is the toughest defense against the run on the season (only 3.6 yards per carry) so I want the Rush+Rec Yds projection in a game that Arizona must get production out of Conner to have a chance.

Jerry Jeudy (WR, CLE)
  • Receiving Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 59.5

  • Fantasy Points: 75.3

You may be surprised to see Jeudy on here, but I was too excited reading Joe Dolan’s matchup report to not include him here. Cedric Tillman is out and there are few other viable options for the Browns. Fantasy Points projects Jameis Winston to throw the ball 37.6 times in this game which I believe is too many opportunities for Jeudy to not surpass his projection.

Additional Picks

Looking for some other options for the week?

Devaughn Vele (WR, DEN)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 39.5

  • Fantasy Points: 43.3

This 39.5 receiving yards Demon projection has gotten me too many times this season, but I am not ready to learn my lesson. I want one more shot at it and as Ash Ketchum would say, “Vele, I choose you!” Definitely one of the biggest surprises of the season is the 27-year-old rookie being a productive member of the Broncos WR squad. He has produced more than this projection the last two weeks while seeing 14 targets during that time. Here’s to Vele doing just enough one more week in a row.

George Pickens (WR, PIT)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 79.5

  • Fantasy Points: 82.5

If receiving yards including those lost to pass interference were a projection you could throw in your lineup, I would be looking at the MORE every single week with Pickens.

This is a plus matchup against a weak Bengals secondary. Pittsburgh has to throw the ball to keep up in what should be a competitive AFC North game.

Brian Thomas Jr. (WR, JAX)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 69.5

  • Fantasy Points: 74.5

On the Dynasty Points show, I am a known skeptic of Thomas Jr. but I am putting that aside for the sake of helping you build out your best lineup. Already a Start ‘Em in Graham Barfield’s weekly article, look for Thomas Jr. to take advantage of a lack of other options.
