NFL Picks

Week 12 is here, and it’s bringing prime opportunities for fantasy glory. Let’s spotlight the hottest picks of the week to supercharge your lineups.

Lamar Jackson (QB, BLT)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 20.5

  • Fantasy Points: 22.2

Last week was a disappointment for Jackson as he posted his lowest Fantasy Score of the season. The Chargers are a tough matchup, but they are a little more vulnerable recently. Over the past five games, their schedule-adjusted FPG allowed is 2.4 FPG (tied for 4th most over that time). Plus, Jackson has done more than 20.5 FPG in nine of twelve games this season.

D.K. Metcalf (WR, SEA)
  • Receiving Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 66.5

  • Fantasy Points: 76.4

Metcalf has one of the better matchup advantages of the week and the top one for Seattle. It helps even more that Geno Smith is projected at 269 passing yards. A high-scoring game against a capable Arizona offense would almost certainly seal Metcalf recording more than the projection.

Justin Herbert (QB, LAC)
  • Pass+Rush Yds (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 279.5

  • Fantasy Points: 285.9

Herbert has produced more than the projection in four of the last five games and has recorded more than 30 rushing yards in three of the last four games. The Ravens defense has struggled this season, especially against the pass. In a game between two playoff hopefuls, look for Herbert to continue his hot streak.

Joe Mixon (RB, HST)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 18.5

  • Fantasy Points: 18.9

Since coming back from injury, Mixon has been killing it. In four of his last six games, Mixon has produced more than 23 FPG and has averaged 24.3 FPG over that span. Tennessee is allowing -1.2 FPG below average production, but that would still put Mixon easily above his projection.

Puka Nacua (WR, LA)
  • Receiving Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 69.5

  • Fantasy Points: 83.6

In the three games that Nacua has played more than 50% of the snaps, he has out-produced the current projection by more than 28 yards. Philadelphia is the toughest defense against WRs. That makes the PrizePicks projection much lower. With such a small sample size due to injury, this is a perfect projection to target.

Additional Picks

Looking for some other options for the week?

Patrick Mahomes (QB, KC)
  • Pass Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 249.5

  • Fantasy Points: 250.7

This is the 2nd best matchup of the week for QBs. Poor Carolina having to face the Chiefs coming off a loss. Mahomes has gone over this mark in three of the last four games. The deck is stacked against the Panthers.

Josh Palmer (WR, LAC)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 39.5

  • Fantasy Points: 45.3

Baltimore gives up more fantasy points to WRs than any other team in the NFL. This is especially true for the outside WRs. Baltimore has been at least average against Slot WRs, so that could open up more opportunities for Palmer. After a three-week hot stretch from Weeks 7-10, Palmer has disappointed a little, but this is a great game to get back on track.

Zach Ertz (TE, WSH)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 39.5

  • Fantasy Points: 42.2

Dallas is a great matchup for inline TEs this season. Ertz has been up and down throughout the season, but he is more than capable of producing more than this projection. He is coming off his best game of the season against the Eagles and one of the top pass defenses in the league. Look for Ertz to keep the momentum running into Week 12.
